This policy explains how CarroMaisBarato ("we") collects and processes your personal data on the CarroMaisBarato.pt website, in accordance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) and Portuguese law.

2. What data we collect
- Form: phone number and, if you provide them, name, desired make/model and budget.
- ISV simulation (fuel, displacement, COâ‚‚, year).
- Technical data: anonymised IP identifier and, with consent, usage statistics.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Contacting you and providing the service — pre-contractual steps and consent.
- Site measurement (cookies) — consent.
We do not sell your data or use it for third-party marketing.
4. Processors and sharing
Cloudflare (hosting/statistics), Resend (emails), Telegram (internal alerts). Google Analytics/Meta Pixel only load after consent. Some may process data outside the EU, with appropriate safeguards.
5. Retention
We keep the data for as long as your interest in the service lasts and as required for legal obligations; afterwards, it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Cookies
Necessary cookies and, only with consent, measurement/marketing cookies. Refusal does not affect use. Cloudflare statistics do not use cookies.
7. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. You have the right to complain to the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
